Both models are excellently paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The interior of the CR-V is quieter than ever before and the rear passenger area has been enhanced with 40.4 inches in leg room, 49.5 inches hip room, 55.6 inches in shoulder room, and 39.2 inches in headroom. The easy fold-down 60/40 split rear seats create a larger cargo area of 75.8 cubic feet. Improved interior features of the CR-V also include a 5-inch color LCD screen, a 1.0 amp USB audio interface, Bluetooth®¹ hands-free capability, and an automatic climate control system. The EX, EX-L, and the Touring trim levels are now standardly equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and include Apple CarPlay™² and Android Auto™³ capability. Honda has also included a 12-volt power outlet in the front and rear console as a standard feature. The innovative engineering has produced a more sophisticated interior with attention to detail, resulting in available leather-trimmed seating and driver seat memory.

The CR-V is perhaps best known and popular because of its extremely accommodating handling ability. There is an agile characteristic that is unprecedented for an SUV crossover, especially since the payload capability is between 1,183 and 1,388, depending on the chosen trim level. The automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring system with a warning are both standard features for the 2019 CR-V on all trim levels of EX and above. The exterior of the 2019 CR-V has a new stylish design with distinctive headlights, taillights and a sportier appearance with sculpted panels that sets it apart from other SUVss. The 5-passenger SUV is 181 inches in length and almost 67 inches in height.
