2025 Honda Passport vs 2025 Honda Pilot

Serving Nashville, TN

Both the 2025 Honda Passport and the 2025 Pilot are midsize SUVs that carry all of the quality and appeal that the brand is recognized for. The Passport is a two-row model. Compared to the 2024 version, the latest Passport is unchanged. In 2025, the three-row Pilot loses its base trim level and gains a top-of-the-line Black Edition trim. What are these models' other differentiating features?

Performance

The 2025 Honda Passport is available in three trim levels, and all are comparably engineered. The Passport comes with a V6, 3.5-liter engine that generates 280 horsepower. The nine-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drivetrain are standard. The TrailSport trim adds an off-road-tuned suspension. In comparison, the 2025 Honda Pilot's six trim levels all have a V6, 3.5-liter engine, and this unit produces 285 horsepower. It pairs with a 10-speed auto transmission. Most trims have front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Select trims add standard all-wheel drive, off-road stability management, off-road suspension, and all-terrain tires.

Appearance

The Passport has a sporty, upright stance with rugged body molding and horizontal creases running across the sides. The tall nose shows off an almost rectangular grille with a wide mesh pattern and thick headlights. The Pilot has a flatter profile with smoother sides. The grille flares outward slightly as it connects with the LED-underscored headlights. The 2025 Passport is available with exterior features like up to 20-inch wheels, roof rails, a hands-free liftgate, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and others. The Pilot has comparable features and adds a heated windshield and rain-sensing wipers.

Features

The 2025 Honda Passport and the Pilot are both offered with leather upholstery, heated seats in the first two rows, a premium sound system, a navigation system, parking sensors, a wireless smartphone charging system, wireless smartphone app integration, a forward collision avoidance system, remote engine start, driver's memory controls, a three-zone climate control system, and others. The Pilot is also available with a household power outlet, a head-up display, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a heated steering wheel, and several additional features.
