What's New for the 2026 Honda Pilot?
The three-row Honda Pilot has a well-deserved reputation for delivering all of the comforts and conveniences that drivers want. In 2026, this midsize crossover SUV is a mid-generation model that introduces updates to its interior and exterior.
The 2026 Honda Pilot remains available in six trim levels. On the Touring and Elite trim levels, the latest version features 20-inch Shark Grey wheels for the first time. On the TrailSport, Diffused Sky Blue paint has been replaced with Ash Green Metallic. For all trim levels, Smoke Blue Pearl and Solar Silver Metallic are available in 2026. Every 2026 Pilot also features a refreshed look. The front end has a boxier shape and sports a larger grille. Below the bumper, a two-tone element also dresses up the front end. In 2026, all trim levels will have standard roof rails and a power liftgate for the first time.
Additional improvements are found inside the cabin. Every trim level in 2026 is equipped with a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch infotainment system. You also have new upholstery choices to consider if you select the TrailSport, Touring, or Elite. To enhance your driving experience, Honda has also upgraded the steering wheel and added sound-deadening elements to reduce road noise.
Each of the trim levels continues to come with the same V6, 3.5-liter gas engine. This unit features a 10-speed automatic transmission. It produces 285 horsepower with 262 pound-feet of torque. You can choose between front-wheel and all-wheel drive with most trims. All-wheel drive is standard on the Elite, TrailSport, and Black Edition models. Some trims add off-road stability management and an off-road-tuned suspension system.
Many of the features offered in the 2025 Honda Pilot remain available in the 2026 model. Some of these are a panoramic moonroof, leather upholstery, a surround-view camera, a heated steering wheel, heated seats in the first two rows, a household power outlet, second-row captain’s chairs, a head-up display, a navigation system, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and many others.
