What's New for the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid?
The 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid is a mid-generation crossover SUV that introduces numerous updates. The TrailSport is a new trim level. This is a mid-level option that stands between the Sport and the Sport-L. In addition to this new option, there are several updates to the CR-V Hybrid's exterior, interior, and performance capabilities.
The update to the 2026 CR-V Hybrid's performance includes the introduction of enhanced traction management with all-wheel drive. All CR-V Hybrid models are loaded with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This system produces 204 horsepower as well as 247 pound-feet of torque, and it comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
On the exterior, the design displays subtle improvements to modernize the look. If you choose the Sport Touring trim level, your CR-V Hybrid will now have larger 19-inch wheels. The new TrailSport trim level comes with unique 18-inch wheels, a faux skid plate, stronger front-end styling, and all-terrain tires. The model is styled with a sleek hood and a tall, curved nose. The slender LED headlights spin off the grille at an angle. The lower fascia offers both black and body colored elements, and it is flanked by gill-style air inlets. The fenders have a flat definition, and the sides are designed with an upper pinstripe accent and a molded lower ledge.
Inside, the new TrailSport has branded headrests and floor mats. Every CR-V Hybrid now comes with wireless phone charging and a 9-inch touch display screen. Depending on the trim level selected, your new 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid may be appointed with Google Built-In, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, a hands-free liftgate, leather upholstery, a digital instrument display, parking sensors for the front and rear, dual rear USB ports, a moonroof, a blind-spot warning, adaptive cruise control, forward collision sensing with accident mitigation, a push-button starter and other features.
