The compact Honda Civic has long been a popular option for value-minded car shoppers across 11 generations. While the model's evolution has been incredible over the last few decades, there aren't any differences between the 2025 and 2026 model years.
The brilliant design of the 2026 Honda Civic expresses athleticism and grace. It shows off a tall, curved roof along with a well-defined hood that cascades toward the nose. The sides are styled with a pinstripe accent running just below the side windows and a sweeping, angled definition line on the lower portion of the doors. The grille is minimized while the wide headlights and lower fascia make a commanding statement. The headlights have a hook-like LED element for distinction. Exterior features offered in the 2026 model year are auto wipers, an acoustic windshield, and up to 18-inch wheels.
The 2026 Civic is available with three gas engines and a hybrid engine. The first gas engine is a 150-horsepower, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder unit. It pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. The other gas engines are a 200-horsepower, turbo 1.5-liter unit and a 315-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter engine. These engines both come with a six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching downshifts. The hybrid system is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter, 200-horsepower unit with an auto transmission.
All six trim levels are well-appointed with modern features and technologies. The base trim level is offered with a 7-inch infotainment system screen, forward collision warning, auto climate control, lane keeping assistance, a four-speaker sound system, a lane departure warning, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and forward collision mitigation. Higher trim levels also include sport seats, leather or synthetic suede upholstery, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a 9-inch infotainment system screen, a wireless device charger, front and rear parking sensors, and more.
