The popular Honda Civic sedan evolves in 2025 with the addition of a hybrid model. The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid sedan is specifically available with the Civic's Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid trim levels. Both of these trim levels are outfitted with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine and two electric motors. The combined output is 200 horsepower. The system is offered with front-wheel drive and driver-selectable regenerative braking.
The 2025 Civic Hybrid sedan shares styling with the gas-powered Honda Civic, and this design is updated compared to the 2024 version. Specifically, the front bumper and headlamps have been retouched to modernize the look. The headlights have been stretched and show off both upper and outer-side LED bars. The wider headlights result in a short, thin grille with an A-frame shape. The grille is mounted above a larger, black bumper. Deep-set, slender air inlets accompany the bumper to the flanks. The sleek profile includes a modestly defined hood, strongly raked roof, and rear. The sides display sporty contouring with both upper and lower accent lines.
The cabin has a wide, rectangular band crossing from the center console to the passenger's door. It holds the auto climate control system's air vents and separates the floating infotainment system screen from the climate control system's interface.
The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid trims are more advanced than the gas-powered Civic trim levels, offering more elite features. Some of these are a one-touch power moonroof, heated front seats, a blind-spot warning, low-speed auto braking, a rear cross-traffic warning, leather upholstery, wireless Android Auto with Apple CarPlay, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers, a wireless charging pad, a navigation system, and parking sensors. They also include features found in the lower trim levels, a remote engine start, a keyless ignition, keyless entry, and more.
