Here at Crest Honda we often hear stories of road trips our customers take with breakdowns and other unforeseeable accidents. That could have been prevented by planning ahead and making a checklist. Here are some suggestions born out of the experience of what you should put on your checklist:
- Plan your trip carefully. Use a good routing tool such as Google Maps in order to make your trip as efficient as possible
- Be sure and get your car inspected to avoid a breakdown along the way
- Take along a first aid kit just in case. It is better to be safe than sorry
- If the weather is cold, take some blankets and extra clothing
- If your trip is overnight, book your motel or hotel in advance. Plan for stops along the way
