We're already excited for the upcoming 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility of the Year Awards and our favorite Japanese automaker has announced that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck is eligible! It's up against some tough competition but we have no doubt it will pull ahead.
If you haven't noticed, the Utility segment is new this year and that's good news for the Ridgeline. Previously, minivans and SUVs were in the same category as trucks and this made for some odd comparisons; now that minivans and SUVs are in the Utility category, the Ridgeline will be on more level ground. There will be three rounds of judging before the finalists are announced in December, so keep tuned in for more details as they come.
